LAHORE: Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, a senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has emphasized the importance of political stability for national well-being.
He stated that his party was against the politics of revenge and expressed commitment to open a major dialogue between the leaders of different political parties. He argued that the objective of this dialogue was to promote development by leaving aside political conflicts and hostilities.
Sadiq advocated harmony and unity among all political parties in resolving the crisis in Pakistan and striving for the progress and welfare of the nation.

He stressed the need for political unity, especially in light of the upcoming session of the National Assembly scheduled for February 29, where the election of the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Prime Minister will take place.
Sadiq claimed that the PML-N has the support of alliances for these key positions in the National Assembly.
As a former speaker of the National Assembly, Sadiq has pledged to engage in politics based on principles rather than personal grudges.
