ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the federation, Balochistan government and FIA to provide details of assets of former Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri.
A four-judge bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa heard the appeal against the Election Tribunal’s decision to impeach Qasim Suri.
The vigilance committee has issued notices to the federal government, the Balochistan government and the FIA to submit details of Suri’s assets and explain why Suri went abroad.
Earlier, the court advertised in newspapers, but Suri could not obey the court order.
