Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has said “it will not continue” if Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s decision to undermine PML-N’s election campaign is heard. an honest judge.
“The trial of the PTI founder [before the February 8 election] has cost us [PML-N] in the election because of the victim card used by the PTI. The order of the trial and the verdict have rewarded them for not bearing it. the principle of justice before the court.” Sanaullah spoke in an interview with a private news channel on Tuesday.
The PML-N leader said the party did not oppose the bail of the former prime minister and said, “The judge will hold the case or he will be acquitted.”
Responding to a question by another PML-N leader about the PTI founder’s claim that he was still being “damaged” by the courts or the authorities, Sanaullah dismissed such rumors.
The statement came after the IHC on Monday sentenced Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi to 14 years in prison in the Toshakhana Case.
When asked whether the verdict passed on the PTI founder was “premeditated” and based on the “representation” of others, Sanaullah said he was not aware of any such instance.
