Shehbaz Sharif, President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), announced on Thursday to grant agricultural loans to rural youth.
Addressing a public gathering in Mandi Bahauddin, the former prime minister criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying, “The long march was conducted against Nawaz Sharif during his stint as premier. The Chinese president’s tour has been delayed due to the PTI’s objections.
”Who were the people who used such tactics? The protests in Islamabad were manufactured, and harsh language was used. The conspiracy against Nawaz Sharif began after 2013,” Shehbaz Sharif said.
”One of the people stated that if they gain power, they will liberate the political prisoners. “I want to tell you that no politician was detained during Nawaz Sharif’s tenure,” he remarked.
He described Nawaz Sharif’s reign, stating, ”It was Nawaz Sharif’s all-out efforts that put the country on track. Several new hospitals have been developed in Punjab. Nawaz Sharif had given the computers to millions of pupils. ”
Shehbaz Sharif also praised PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif for tackling the issues related to the power outages. ”Prior to the PML-N government in 2013, sections of the country had power shortages of 20 hours. We have generated 10,000 MW of electricity.
