Sunni Ittehad Council Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza suggested that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, who joined his party to contest the election, should discuss the issue of his withdrawal from the meeting.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Chairman Sunni Ittehad Council said that if PTI founder Imran Khan does not get justice in the coming weeks, he will have to take to the streets after withdrawing from the meeting.
PTI leaders should consider withdrawing from the meeting and take to the streets if Imran Khan does not get justice in the coming weeks, we are not sitting in the meeting to give this government. I will be the first person to resign from the National Assembly for IK.
Hamid Raza further suggested that PTI parliamentarians should discuss the issue of their withdrawal from the meeting. Imran Khan asked what was the meaning of sitting in the meeting when he was not released. They will not sit in a meeting to give this government “breathing space” unless the former prime minister gets justice soon.
