When we keeping in mind the massacre of innocent civilians in Gaza and Occupied Kashmir every conscious person thinking about the organizations responsible for maintaining peace at the international level and those are the United Nations or the international laws.
The future of international laws seem to be in danger as no one is ready to raise a voice against the powerful India and Israel for imposing wars on innocent civilians, leading to war-torn areas like Gaza and Occupied Kashmir. The Citizens’ confidence in international laws has been reduced day bay day because of lack of implementations.
While Israel has set new records of human atrocity in Gaza, India’s atrocities on Kashmiris have further escalated after the government revoked its special status through an executive order on August 6, 2019.
Displacement of people and their property rights, unjustified violence, illegal detention and derailment of infrastructure and communications as a result of the above measures are all components of an existential humanitarian crisis and contribute to the breakdown of law and order.
A common factor here is the polytheism and that is the saving capacity of international law! It is for this reason that the above quote vibrates in every mind when we appreciate the desired outcomes for the future of international law. But that raise the question, are we looking in the right direction when we seek harmony from the United Nations or other like-minded organizations?
Although several resolutions have been passed to end the humanitarian crisis in Occupied Kashmir, the problem has deepened without fear of violating international laws. If we look at these situations from a day-to-day perspective, it is known that the Kashmir issue has harmed foreign investment for Pakistan.
Which seeks international balance by joining other non-economic institutions. The responsibility of Pakistan’s economic loss is also imposed on the war against terrorism. If these issues were not there, perhaps Pakistan could organize itself diplomatically and maintain more of its geopolitical relevance.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s entertainment industry, which was once cross-border in terms of performances and collaborations between Indian and Pakistani film stars and artists. That used to grow up from that has also been affected as a result of the Kashmir crisis. This appeared locally, resulting in the closure of the cinema industry in Pakistan.
Despite the bilateral self-imposed ban, the Bombay High Court clarified that there is no prohibition on the exchange of talent between the countries. This shows the importance of local law support which is a positive step in the right direction for the future of international law in which the exchange of ideas between local celebrities and notables is likely to be inevitable.
In order to solve the humanitarian crisis faced today in the border, it is necessary to ensure the implementation of international laws. If the situation in Palestine is examined, Israel’s Zionist thinking has crossed all limits at this time.
The Israeli forces have not left the mosques or the hospitals, they are showing their brutality everywhere, due to which thousands of women and children have been martyred.
Despite of this international laws are not being implemented against Israel and an influential organization like the United Nations is seen as helpless, which suggests that the United Nations may have been deserted in front of big powers. So that is the reason why the United Nations has failed to implement these international laws.
Apart from that organizations like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch are not raising any voice against this injustice, due to which the cruelty of Israel has increased, so there is a need to campaign against it at the international level.
