Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti said on Tuesday that social media has divided our nation without understanding social values and created a gap between the country and the youth through wrong narratives.
He said, the dialogue stage will continue with the youth and he is ready to participate with the youth in every forum.
He made these comments in his speech at the closing ceremony of the 13th National Seminar of Belarus.
The Prime Minister said that all kinds of conspiracies against Pakistan will be foiled, monsters of terrorism and plots to divide the nation on religious and linguistic lines and power and people have foiled all kinds of conspiracies against the country through national unity. .
Everyone has a democratic right to have a personal opinion in a healthy society, he said, and personal opinion must be weighed against the facts, and the extent of the truth and all popular narratives must be thoroughly scrutinized.
He said that the world is moving to social media platforms after preparation, but we are entering the era of social media without conscious preparation which has a direct negative impact on social values.
He said that we do not leave our youth alone and we can listen to them at every level and steps will be taken to solve their problems for the benefit of the province.
The CM said that through the Balochistan national seminar, the concept of Balochistan has been effectively explained at the national level, which is a positive sign of the province and the participants of all the provinces participating in this seminar are aware of the basic reality of Balochistan. .
He said, the provincial government will provide all support and cooperation to continue such positive activities.
At the end of the event, the Prime Minister of Balochistan also awarded certificates to the participants of the seminar.
