Mumbai: Anvi Kamdar, a 27-year-old social media influencer from Maharashtra, India, tragically fell to her death while filming a video in a 300-foot deep gorge.
According to Indian media reports, Anvi Kamdar, known for her Instagram handle ‘Traveling Rails and We Logs’, had embarked on a Moonsoon series trip with seven friends on July 16. During this journey, while reaching the famous Kumbhi Waterfall in Maharashtra, a horrific incident occurred where the influencer lost her life.
Media reports state that Anvi Kamdar was recording a video of her Moonsoon trip for her Instagram handle when suddenly her foot slipped upon reaching the Kumbhi Waterfall, causing her to fall into the gorge, approximately 300 to 350 feet deep.
Due to heavy rain and slippery conditions, the operation to retrieve Anvi Kamdar lasted for 6 hours. The rescue team managed to extract Anvi Kamdar alive from the gorge after continuous efforts for 6 hours, but due to the fall from a height, she sustained severe injuries.
Anvi Kamdar was rushed to the hospital, where unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries without recovering consciousness.
The sudden death of 27-year-old Anvi Kamdar has left her family in deep shock, while her millions of followers on social media are also expressing profound grief.
