Islamabad Traffic SSP Muhammad Sarfraz Virk said that following this order, he inspected the motorcycles used by the traffic enforcement officers and issued instructions to ensure their safety and called for immediate rectification of defects.
He ordered the Zonal DSPs to prepare reports of vehicles, motorcycles and other equipment in their respective areas within a day.
He also said that special measures are being taken to provide the Islamabad traffic police with more modern vehicles, motorcycles and equipment so that their work is not affected.
He said, officers and employees who perform their duties well will be rewarded and those who neglect their duties will be punished.
