Rawalpindi – NUST Military College of Signals (MCS) held its much awaited annual Open House. The event showcases more than 60 innovative projects in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Software, Information Technology, and Information/Cyber Security. Deputy Prime Minister P@sha Mr. Khurram Rahat graced the event as the chief guest. In addition, many guests from government, academia and industry attended the event and were impressed by the variety of practical and commercial projects such as AI, Blockchain, Communication, Cyber Security and Software. The event also provides an excellent platform for students to network with industry professionals, explore placement opportunities and gain valuable insight into career paths.
In his speech, the Chief Guest said that the creativity and innovation shown in the exhibition is not only the result of the hard work of the students but also the dedication of the lecturers and the supportive environment created by NUST-MCS. He said these projects add to the practical skills and problem-solving skills students have developed during their degrees.
Earlier, MCS Commander Brig Omer Khalid welcomed the guests of honour. He thanked the students for their innovative projects and the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the industry with innovative ideas and problem solving skills.
