SWAT: A one-day seminar on “Investigation and Prosecution of Rape 2021” was held in Swat district at the meeting hall of the DPO office.
The workshop was chaired by Swat District Police Officer Dr Zahid Ullah Khan. Family Court Swat Judge Alia Bibi, Civil Judge Shah Naufal, District Public Prosecutor (RPP) Malakand Division Said Naeem Khan, Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Sharaft Ali, Additional SP Swat Ghulam Sadiq Khan, DSP Law Naem Hussain and other Public Prosecutors ( PP ) and Police officers also participated in the workshop.
Family Court Judge Alia Bibi and RPP Saeed Naeem Khan participated in the workshop and reminded the participants about the ‘Anti-Rape Investigation and Prosecution 2021’, which is designed to conduct investigations in their respective courts.
They explained the steps in detail and urged the police officers to gather all the evidence during the investigation and ensure the welfare of the victim’s child.
In his speech, Swat District Police Officer Dr Zahid Ullah Khan said that the aim of the workshop organized under the theme “Anti-Rape Investigation and Prosecution 2021” was to provide training and practical guidance to the police officers.
He directed all investigating officers to better coordinate with the prosecutor’s department and ensure strict punishment by the court to cruel people who rape small children and girls under the law, saying that all SDPOs must monitor such important. the process itself,” he said.
