SWAT: THE Peace rallies were taken out on Friday against the Azm e istehkam operation in Kabal, Matta and Khalwazakhela Teshsils of Swat district. These peace rallies were organized by Olasi Pasoon, thousands of people waved white flags and chanted slogans of “We want peace”.
The biggest rally was held in Kabal Tehsil, where the atmosphere echoed with the slogans of “Moung Aman Gawaro, Mong Jang Na Gawaro”.
Thousands of people participated in the rally.
The peace rally in Kabal was led by Idrees Khan, the leader of Olasi Pasoon. Member Provincial Assembly Hameedur Rehman, Chairman Tehsil Council Kibal Saeed Khan, Leader of Olasi Pasoon Aftab Khan also participated.
The rally in Tehsil Matta was led by former Tehsil Nazim Matta Abdul Jabbar Khan.
The participants of the rally also carried placards in their hands in large numbers, on which slogans such as Mong Aman Gwaro, Mong Jang na Gwaroo, Terrorism are not approved were written on them.
The speakers said that the people who are victims of terrorism are not ready to tolerate terrorism again in any case.
They said that the Pakhtun nation is a peace-loving nation, it cannot afford terrorism again in any case.
They strongly condemned the bomb blasts in Bajaur and Takhtbhai and demanded the government to maintain peace.
They said that there is peace in Swat and Malakand division and we will not tolerate any situation of disturbing the atmosphere of peace.
