SWAT: During the Eid-ul-Adha holidays in Swat, more than 300,000 tourists have visited the tourist spots so far, including foreign tourists from Canada, France, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, and China.
Spokesperson of Upper Swat Development Authority, Saeedur Rehman, told the media that during the five days of Eid-ul-Adha, over 300,000 tourists entered Swat in more than 50,000 vehicles from all over the country, including foreign tourists from China, Canada, France, Kyrgyzstan, and Malaysia. For the convenience of tourists, the Upper Swat Development Authority has established convenience centers at Landake, Malam Jabba, Gabin Jabba, Madyan, Bahrain, Kalam, and other places under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Swat and Director General Upper Swat Development Authority Shahzad Mahboob under the supervision of Deputy Director kiramat ali. At these centers, tourists were welcomed by the Swat Police, Tourism Police, and the district administration.
He said that the tourists visited various recreational spots, including Fizagat Park, Murghazar Valley, Malam Jabba, Myandam, Gabin Jabba, and Kalam, to enjoy their Eid holidays. He added that the large influx of tourists in Swat reflects the hospitality of the people here, and the Upper Swat Development Authority, District Administration, and Swat Police are doing their best to guide and provide facilities. All possible steps are being taken to ensure their comfort. The arrival of a large number of tourists proves that the Swat Valley is a peaceful destination for domestic and foreign tourists. He also mentioned that the highest number of tourists was recorded in Malam Jabba.
