SWAT: A little Qari from Swat district was won the international award of being the world’s youngest Qari in competition of Hifzul–Quran in Libya.
The Prime Minister of Libya, Abdul Hamid, awarded him with a special honor of Libya, a cash prize and an international award.
Muhammad Bashar, a ten-year-old Qari of Swat’s Madrasah Taleem-ul-Islam at Kanju area, represented Pakistan in the international competition for Hifz-ul-Quran in Libya. Qaries and Huffaz from 63 countries participated in these competitions.
In these competitions of Hifz-ul-Quran, which lasted for 7 days. Mohammad Bashaar, a young Qari (reciter) from Kanju Swat, won the sixth position at the global level and the world honor of being the youngest Qari in the world.
During the magnificent ceremony in Libya, the Prime Minister of Libya, Abdul Hamid Dabiba, hugged and kissed the little Qari from Swat and then awarded him 15,000 LYD, as well as the special honor of Libya and other international awards.
Muhammad Bashaar, the young Qari who made Pakistan famous in the world, reached his madrassa and was received with great honor.
“Qari Muhammad Bashaar has previously won many honors in national competitions held in Islamabad and Karachi. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also awarded this little Qari with a reward and kindness,”
Qari Mohammad Bashaar said that this honor is not only for me but it is a matter of pride for Swat and Pakistan as well.
