Islamabad: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), an ally of the federal government, has announced the budget for the fiscal year 2025-2024 as a regular budget.
Responding to the budget, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said he was not against it, it was a normal budget and wanted to tax the money of the common man and the rich to cover the budget deficit. It ended due to taxes.
The MQM leader said that like the mass protests in Muzaffarabad, the character of the people will be lost due to inflation, adding that it will happen in every city.
Farooq Sattar, as a good friend of Shehbaz Sharif, said, “I suggest. It would be better if the government revises its shadow budget. Instead of Benazir Income Support, Benazir Income Support Program should be done.”
