Islamabad: The Plant 4 Pakistan campaign has been launched under the auspices of the Green Pakistan Initiative by the Investment Facilitation Council.
A comprehensive plan has been implemented with the Plant 4 Pakistan drive to increase farmland, reduce pollution and check infestations in various parts of the country.
The districts where the campaign was launched include Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Hazara, and Malakand divisions and Poonch and Muzaffarabad districts in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Drive Plant 4 Pakistan is aimed at reforestation and development of arable land in the country.
It will be a major force that will be fully supported by the provincial authorities, the corporate sector, the youth, the general public and the Pakistan Army.
Factory 4 Pakistan campaign will continue till 2026 and expand to other districts.
This project will not only help reduce pollution, but will also boost the timber industry in the country, besides benefiting agricultural land owners.
