LARKANA: A group of thieves kidnapped a private boy in Bhonbhatpur village near Naudero to steal his mobile phone and police arrested two suspects on Saturday.
Larkana SSP spokesperson said police arrested Sadullah Brohi after registering an FIR against Abro at Rahiyal Abro police station and Sajid Iqbal, regional security manager of a private mobile company, at Naudero police station. Night watchman Muhammad Qasim Hakrani and two unidentified persons under Sections 457, 380, 381, 427 and 34 PPC.
The complainant said that when he and two colleagues went to the village on a regular visit to the minaret on June 7, they found nothing there. He said the entire boundary wall around the structure and the mobile wall had been stolen.
The spokesperson said that according to the FIR, all the fittings of the temple, even the iron walls and gates, were dismantled and taken away. According to the FIR, the crime took place on June 5 but was reported to the police on June 14.
After the news spread on social media, the police swung into action and arrested him. “We have arrested the owner Rahiyal Abron and the garbage collector Sadullah Brohi,” the police said.
Police have revealed in preliminary investigation that the watchman has not worked for six months and the night watchman has not been paid regularly.
Abro told the police when asked that a group of people started impersonating him as a representative of a mobile company. He won the trust and finally (Abro) dismantled the tower, saying that the company has decided to close the installation.
According to the press secretary, the police are trying to arrest the rest of the suspects in the case.
