Islamabad: TikTok announced the first TikTok Advertising Awards in the METAP region. The awards program is designed to celebrate leading brands and agencies on TikTok for creative and high-performing campaigns, as well as for embracing TikTok’s unique nature and delivering a unique advertising experience.
The awards will highlight the most inspiring advertising campaigns that bring authenticity, creativity and joy to the platform while achieving groundbreaking results. The initiative aims to recognize the region’s outstanding talent and innovation.
The TikTok Promotion Awards are open to submissions from brands and agencies located in the METAP region, which includes Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, South Africa and Pakistan. The app has six main categories that cover various aspects of a successful TikTok campaign.
- It’s Creative for Me: Focus on ideas and strategies and highlight brands and agencies committed to pushing creative boundaries with TikTok-first campaigns and showing impressive results.
- Community Core: Celebrating the best uses for creators and communities. It shows how creators can use the unique voice and content style of your campaign ideas.
- Bougie on a Budget: This category is for campaigns with the most creative use of limited production budget and resources through paid and organic content for maximum impact.
- Please!: Mark campaigns that use voice as an entry point for creative ideas. There are different types of sounds, different uses of sounds, and different creative approaches to making sounds on TikTok.
- Trendsetter: Rethink advertising through TikTok, showcasing your innovation and bold impactful ideas through the unique use of advertising products and measurable impact on the platform to engage audiences.
- People’s Choice: Chosen by voting by the guests of the event. The top award – The Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T) – will be presented to the best overall campaign that achieves the highest level of creativity, media goals and effectiveness. This award aims to recognize the TikTok community, creativity and campaigns aimed at encouraging happiness and creating cultural moments. All applications submitted in one of the six main categories will automatically be considered for the G.O.A.T.
Brands and agencies can find all program details and submit their entries at https://tiktok-ad-awards.evessiocloud.com/. The deadline for submissions is September 6, 2024, giving participants enough time to prepare and demonstrate their creativity, authenticity and impact. Winners will be announced in November.
