Islamabad: Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA), Division of National Heritage and Culture and Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan organized a special painting workshop and exhibition by Jordanian artist Suzan Alsaid titled “Touch of Love” Suzan exhibited her paintings for the first time in Pakistan. This unique opportunity called “Painting Workshop with Suzan Alsaid” took place on the morning of February 27 at the premises of PNCA in Islamabad.
Suzan Alsaid is a highly acclaimed visual artist from Jordan, known for her diverse artistic talent and commitment to sharing her knowledge and passion for art with others. The workshop gave participants a chance to learn from Suzanne’s expertise, explore different painting techniques and gain insight into her creative process.
The workshop was open to artists of all skill levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Participants had the opportunity to engage in hands-on painting activities, receive personalized feedback from Suzan, and connect with other like-minded individuals who share a passion for art.

Space for the workshop was limited and those interested in attending were encouraged to register early to secure their place.

“Touch of Love” is a collection that showcases Suzan Alsaid’s diverse artistic talents and features a series of paintings that reflect her deep appreciation for the power of art to convey emotions and thoughts. Drawing inspiration from her Jordanian heritage, Alsaid’s paintings blend traditional Islamic patterns with contemporary artistic expressions to create a unique and captivating visual experience.
The exhibition is a collaboration between the National Arts Council of Pakistan, the Division of National Heritage and Culture and the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It aims to celebrate Jordan’s rich cultural heritage and promote cultural exchange between Jordan and Pakistan.
The opening ceremony of “Touch of Love” was attended by distinguished guests from the arts and culture community, as well as representatives of the governments of Pakistan and Jordan.
“Touch of Love” promises to be a captivating and thought-provoking exhibition that will highlight the intersection of art and culture. Through her art, Suzan Alsaid invites viewers to explore universal themes of love, beauty and human connection, crossing borders and fostering understanding between cultures.
The exhibition will last until March 3, 2024. The gallery is closed on Saturdays.
