WANA: A remote control bomb exploded on a police vehicle in Wana’s Rustam Bazar, Lower South Waziristan on Tuesday, and as a result, two policemen were injured.
As soon as the information about the explosion was received, Rescue 1122 reached on the spot.
The injured police personnel were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Wana for medical treatment by ambulance, while one condition is said to be dangerous, he was shifted to Dera Ismail Khan for further treatment.
Official sources said that a remote control bomb exploded on a police vehicle on the wana Kari Kot road, causing severe damage to the vehicle.
Some reports have also been received, additional SHO Wana was the target of remote control bomb blast while he narrowly escaped this attack.

Officials said that the remote control bomb was planted in a shed, 2 policemen were injured on the spot due to the bomb blast, while the received report said that there was no loss of life in the remote control bomb blast
Official sources added that at the time Additional SHO of City Police Station Wana was passing by, however, the pre-installed remote control bomb exploded with a loud explosion.
After the bomb blast, police and security forces surrounded the entire area and started investigating the incident.
It should be remembered that a remote control explosion was carried out on the SHO of Wana Police Station yesterday too, in which he also escaped unhurt while four civilians were injured.
