RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers were killed in a gun fight with terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lakki Marwat area on Wednesday, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in the latest terror attack on the military.
The ISPR — the army’s media wing — stated in a statement that a “fire exchange occurred between security forces and terrorists” in the district, during which the Pakistan Army’s security forces “effectively engaged the terrorists’ location.”
Two terrorists, Aftab alias Malang and Masood Shah, were “sent to hell” as a result of their exchange, according to the statement.
“These terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as targeted killings of innocent civilians,” the intelligence agency said.
