WANA: On tuesday evening in Tanai area of Wana tehsil of Lower South Waziristan district, the roof of a rotten room collapsed due to heavy rain in the house of Muhammad Adil Wazir, and in which two women have been seriously injured
Family sources told the media that both women were present inside the room when the roof collapsed.
The head of the affected family Muhammad adil Wazir said, the rubble of the room fell on them, and the two women were pulled out from under the rubble by locals.
According to the report injured women included Zeenat Bibi, wife of Mohammad Adil Wazir and sister Soria Bibi, the victim’s family belongs to the Kundi Zai tribe in Wazir tribe.
Adil Wazir further told, both the women were immediately shifted to District Headquarters Hospital, Wana for first aid in critical condition.
He said after the serious condition both the injured women sent to Dera Ismail Khan for further treatment be, and now women have been admitted by doctors at DHQ Hospital in Dera Ismail Khan.
Hospital sources say, after checking up on the two injured women, their treatment has been started.
It should be noted as Muhammad Adil Wazir is a poor man, the tribal elders have demanded immediate compensation from the provincial government.
