SWAT: At least two women were killed in a property dispute in Pia Khawr area of Hwazakhela Tehsil of Swat district. Police arrested one gunman to arrest another.
According to DSP Khwazakhela circle Altaf Hussain Khan, the incident happened in Bai Banr village where the accused Ubaidullah and Ali Zaman s/o Adbari Khan killed two young daughters of Abdul Haq, daughter of Mst Rubina. and his daughter-in-law Ibu Nabia, the Doctor’s wife.
“They were seriously injured in the shooting and were immediately transferred to Madian Civil Hospital for medical treatment where they succumbed to their injuries.”
After this incident, DSP Hwazakhela Altaf Hussain Khan, Police Station SHO Fatehpur Saeed Rehman and Police Station SHO Hwazakhela Hayat Khan reached the spot and arrested Ubaidullah and his weapons while action was taken to arrest the other accused Ali Zaman.
