RAS AL KHAIMAH: Ras Al Khaimah, the sixth largest city in the United Arab Emirates, has launched its new location, Raha Island, in Mina Al Arab, contributing to its real estate development.
Backed by RAK Properties, the project will be built around a high-end hotel and serviced residences and will include retail space, beach, beach club and leisure facilities.
CEO Sameh Al Muhtadi said: “We believe that our client’s desire for high-end smart development will be met at Raha Island.
“Now, our mission is not only to meet that demand, but to exceed expectations by further improving this prestigious location.”
Since last year, the emirate has launched several luxury hotel projects, including the flagship Wynn development on Al Marjan Island.
Al Marjan Island has received huge investment as the first of these major projects is expected to open its doors in the next 3 years.
According to Gulf News, Raha Island will include more than 2.5 kilometers of “publicly accessible beaches”.
Meanwhile, the island’s new beach will be “the perfect starting point for water sports and adventure, or a relaxing day on the water”.
Residents and visitors can explore local attractions or take a hydrofoil to other Emirates in the south via the water transit line at Mina Al Arab.
