Islamabad: The United States (US) has become the largest export destination for Pakistani goods in the first eleven months of the fiscal year 2023-24, followed by China and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), total exports to the US during July-May 2022-24 were recorded at $4,989,140 million against exports of $5,484,257 million during July-May 2022-23. ).
Further, Pakistan exported goods worth $2,553,481 million last year, up 35.16 percent to $1,889,195 million.
According to SBP data, the UAE is the third largest exporter, with exports worth $1,880,820 million during the months under review against Pakistan’s exports of $1,341,804 million.
According to the data, among other countries, Pakistan’s exports to the United Kingdom (UK) were recorded at $1,861,083 million against $1,808,288 million last year, while exports to Germany were recorded at $1,381,369 million against $1,488,714 million last year to the back .
In July-May, exports to the Netherlands were 1,323,770 million dollars and 1,273,035 million dollars, and exports to Italy were 1,032,475 million dollars and 1,052,640 million dollars.
Pakistan’s exports to Spain ranged between $1,271,414 million and $1,333,875 million, while exports to Afghanistan were recorded between $478,614 million and $507,935 million last year.
Exports to Bangladesh were $605,744 million against US $709,050 million.
Similarly, during the month under review, French exports were $464,060 million against $530,180 million, while Belgian exports were $505,812 million against $642,282 million.
Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia were recorded at $457.551 million last year compared to $661.271 million last year, while exports to Turkey were $311.011 million against $296.618 million.
