RAWALPINDI: Usman Khan achieved a remarkable feat in the Pakistan Super League when he smashed a superb century against Islamabad United in Rawalpindi on Sunday.
This stellar performance allowed him to equal the PSL record of hundreds in the history of the league. With three centuries in just 14 PSL innings, Usman Khan now shares the record with Kamran Akmal, who needed 74 innings to achieve the same milestone.
During the said match, the powerful batsman showcased his prowess by scoring an unbeaten 100 off 50 balls. This exceptional innings included an impressive total of 15 fours and three sixes, showcasing his aggressive and dominant style of play.
Notably, this century marked Usman’s second in the current PSL season after his unbeaten 106 against Karachi Kings last Sunday. His consistent and impressive performance helped Multan to a mammoth total of 228/4, the highest this season.
The batsman from Karachi also holds the record for the fastest century in the league, having scored a ton in just 36 balls against Quetta Gladiators in PSL 8.
