Senator Faisal Vawda said that there are baseless allegations against sensitive institutions and organizations and demanded that concrete evidence be provided.
Wawda said that the growing social unrest should be tackled with facts, not accusations. He was speaking at a press conference held at the National Press Club in Islamabad.
“Oughtery,” Wawda warned, then unfounded claims can have dire consequences. “If they throw away their slobbers, we will make balls out of slobbers.” If you are respectful you will earn respect,” he said.
Wawda said it is important to maintain integrity, especially between public officials and the judiciary. He questioned the dual citizenship of judges, saying that if public representatives cannot have dual citizenship, neither can judges.
Noting that Millan is known for his openness and honesty, Senator Adalat Athar said that Millan does not meet anyone in secret or take decisions only in public. Further, Wawda mentioned the letter he had written to the cashier asking for information about Justice Babar Sattar, which has yet to receive a reply.
Senator Wawda’s call to action shows evidence that there are barriers, and it will stand with those who act.
