TALASH: The WAPDA (PESCO) department is busy robbing the poor household consumers with both hands in the name of pro rata consumption and there is no good situation.
The poor household electricity consumers of the entire district, including Talash Valley, started receiving heavy electricity bills. The exploitation of poor consumers continues in the name of twenty types of taxes in the electricity bill. By making another additional box in the name of (pro rata consumption), they are busy robbing the poor people with both hands by injecting thousands of rupees to the simple poor electricity consumers with new fraud and deception. Inspite of spending 10 times increase in electricity bills, the electricity bill of a user who spends up to 50 units will be reduced to 8000 rupees instead of a few hundred rupees by uniting 201, 202, etc. under the cruel and illegal formula of pro rata consumption. On approaching the concerned offices of WAPDA (PESCO) as a complaint, the reply is that it is a computerized formula. It is out of our range. Pro Reta consumption formula will continue to be applied to the electricity consumers under the order. This is not the case of the subordinate officials of WAPDA. And thus, the relevant officials of WAPDA (PESCO) have declared themselves as a bad responsibility and are robbing the poor electricity consumers with both hands. There is no good situation for the poor consumers of electricity. Therefore, the poor consumers of electricity began to abuse the rulers including the WAPDA authorities. It is the responsibility of the WAPDA to charge the consumers of electricity electricity bill according to their actual unit consumption. The poor consumers who are oppressed by poverty and inflation should be saved from further torture.
