Signed a significant Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Prime Minister’s Youth Program
Friesland Campina Engro Pakistan Limited (FCEPL). This partnership aims to promote economic development focused on financial inclusion and capacity building of dairy farmers in Sindh and Punjab provinces.
The signing ceremony marks a significant commitment to increase youth employment and economic empowerment in Pakistan’s dairy sector. Under the National Youth Development Framework (NYDF), the partnership leverages the flagship programs of the two organizations to create effective opportunities for farmers.
Main areas of cooperation:
- Value Chain Financing: This initiative will provide value chain financing that will enable dairy and livestock farmers to obtain loans to purchase exotic cattle, mechanization, solar solutions and agricultural infrastructure.
- Training and capacity building: FCEPL will provide comprehensive training to farmers to improve their skills and knowledge to ensure sustainable growth and development.
- Inclusion and Inclusion: The program targets dairy farmers, farmers and dairy farmers in Sindh and Punjab, aiming to integrate them into the wider economic structure through financial support and capacity building.
Program Highlights:
-Prime Minister’s Youth and Agriculture Business Credit Scheme: This scheme will be a major part of the partnership by providing financial assistance to dairy farmers registered with FCEPL.
-Economic Empowerment*: This program seeks to promote economic empowerment and social engagement among youth by promoting entrepreneurship and education.
