The Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court has granted bail to PTI leaders Dr Minasmin Rashid and Umar Sarfaraz Cheman in the Sherpao Bridge arson and arson case.
The case is said to be related to incendiary remarks and the subsequent fire at the Sherpao Bridge. Jalan Sarwar police station has registered a case against the accused.
After hearing the arguments of the lawyers representing Dr. Minasmin Rashid and Umar Sarfaraz Chema, the ATC deliberated on the issue and approved the grant of bail.
The case against Rasheed is related to the riots that erupted after Imran’s arrest and alleged violent protests against government officials at Sherpao Bridge in the city on May 9.
