In civilized countries around the world political differences are considered essential for the development of any country because the competition between political parties gives continuity and clarity to national policy.
On the basis of which these countries are progressing day and night but the sad fact is that the situation in our country is completely opposite. Here prejudices arising as a result of political differences continue to exist even after general elections and government formation.
As a result of this approach the governments that come to power often reject the good plans of the previous governments although that act gives satisfaction to the political leaders but because of this the country and the people lose billions of rupees.
Unluckily these issues have been going on in the country since its independence but no political party has tried to change this tradition due to which the country is close to bankruptcy. In that worst situation the good thing is that once again there are few weeks left for the holding of general elections across the country for which all the political parties have accelerated the election campaign.
Meanwhile the workers of Pakistan People’s Party, Pakistan Muslim League (N), Jamiat Ulema Islam, Jamaat-e-Islami, Awami National Party, Qaumi Watan Party and other small and big parties of the country have intensified their sloganeering and campaigning against each other.
In which a lot of caution needs to be taken so that the environment cannot be damaged by speaking against the leader of any party. If the political situation of the country is analyzed in a positive way, shouting slogans against each other and criticizing the past and present policies of political parties is the beauty of democracy.
The same type of movement is conducted for general elections in the whole civilized world but contrary to this colorful political campaign, if the election history of the country is covered it has been very brutal. In most of the elections in the country not only massacres and shootings happen, but new enmities are also born. The main reason is that there is a lot of lack of awareness among our citizens due to which they are guilty of taking extreme measures against each other in the face of emotional speeches of leaders.
Therefore leaders of political parties should avoid such emotional speeches that can cause bloodshed. On the other hand, these leaders should also create awareness among their workers that they should avoid playing the role of any political leaders because the main reason for all the fights that have taken place during the general elections in the past is this abuse.
It should be remembered that ethics and family admiration also require that all voters not only take care of each other’s self-respect but also stop others from doing that kind of meaningless things. It should be also recalled that these are the first elections in the history of the country in which most of the candidates and their supporters are young people. Among them are lawyers and highly educated doctors or engineers who should also take care of their status and educational states.
These youths should think of the general elections would be over but the anarchy created as a result of it remains, due to which political anarchy is increasing in the country. Therefore the support workers of all political parties should avoid spoiling their relations and affairs for the sake of politics.
So that they continue to share each other’s sorrows and joys in the future besides maintain political harmony and tolerance in the society. Alternatively the administration will also have to be very careful in this regard. Unfortunately the history of our administration is not ideal in this regard.
Therefore the government machinery should also maintain an atmosphere of cooperation and brotherhood with all political parties. If the situation becomes tense due to the unjustified strictness of the administration it will not be a good omen.
