Akhuwat Finland launches Students Mentoring Program

Islamabad: The implementation of Finland’s Akhuwat Student Mentoring Program in Online Meetings has taken a significant step in supporting Pakistani students.
This meeting was attended by leading educationists, technocrats, scientists, politicians and students. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Zeeshan Asghar, as the President of Akhuwat Finland, gave detailed information about the organization’s activities during the event.
Outlining the measure, Akhuwat sought to highlight the breadth and depth of Finland’s commitment to supporting students, especially Pakistanis.
Their strong commitment to helping students through their career counseling initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to empowering individuals and enhancing their careers.
Dr. Asgar’s leadership inspired the audience to believe that Akhuwat Finland can make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and confirmed its role as a valuable resource in society.
As Chief Guest H.E. Ambassador of Pakistan Dr. Zahoor Ahmed highlighted the event.
Recognizing the benefits of mentoring programs for Pakistani students shows their value and importance in meeting the need of the hour.
Recognizing the importance of the program, Dr. Zahoor Ahmed highlighted not only the benefits for Pakistani students, but also the wider social and educational issues that such initiatives aim to address.
Their support reinforces the importance of Akhuwat’s mentoring program in nurturing talent and empowering students to reach their full potential.
In that event, the President of Akhuwat Pakistan Dr. Amjad Saqib took the opportunity to explain the core mission and values ​​of Yayasan Akhuwat.
Explaining the purpose of the fund, Dr. Sakib expressed his commitment to the service and welfare of the people. Its focus on community service reflects Akhuwat’s commitment to community development through several initiatives, including its mentoring program.
Dr. Saqib’s words served to inspire and reinforce the importance of giving back to society and making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Likewise, Finpartnership Program Director Birgit Newala thanked the mentorship program and collaborative efforts. Newala’s recognition as a person involved in developing partnerships and initiatives shows recognition of the program’s potential to strengthen relations between Finland and Pakistan and support common goals.
Thanks to him, it shows the importance of cross-border cooperation in education and capacity building initiatives, and the positive impact such programs can have on the educational situation of both countries.
Prof. dr. Nadeem Asghar, addressing the meeting as the President of the Professional Association of Pakistan Finland, gave important insights into the cause of Akhuwat.

During the online meeting, Rasmus Basilier, CEO and founder of Euroscaler, played a key role in the discussion around the mentoring program, offering insights and perspectives in the commercial sector and entrepreneurship.
As an entrepreneur and leader, Basilier said mentorship is essential to fostering innovation, nurturing talent and success in the startup ecosystem.

Speaker Dr. Naveed Tabassum, Product Owner, Nokia, Dr Imran Qureshi, Senior Lecturer, and Fahad Ghani, Director, Technology & Solutions, Mekitec Group, highlighted the importance of mentoring.
Their contribution enriched the conversation by giving different perspectives and experiences to the audience.
The audience consisted of students, professionals, academics, politicians and stakeholders in Finnish education, showing a broad interest and support for this initiative.
During the course, students interacted with experts and asked several questions about the mentoring program. Each expert responded carefully, answering the problems and questions raised by the students.
Dr. Naveed answers questions about the practical aspects of mentoring and shows how students can take advantage of mentoring opportunities to improve their skills and explore career paths in the technology industry.
Dr. Imran Qureshi answered questions related to the mentoring aspect of mentoring, provided advice on how students can benefit from mentoring in academic settings, and offered strategies for effective learning and professional development.
Fahad Ghani provides insight from a business perspective, answering questions about the role of mentoring in the workplace, its impact on career development, and how students can take advantage of mentoring opportunities to succeed in their future careers.
Overall, students receive valuable insight and guidance from experts and receive comprehensive answers to their questions to successfully navigate the mentoring program.
