Islamabad: Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Climate Change and Environment Romina Khurshid Alam held a meeting with the Country Director of Save the Children and discussed the participation of affected children in the 29th COP in Baku. According to him, the children of Pakistan, who are experiencing climate crisis, should turn to world leadership on climate.
The Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Climate Change, Romina Khurshid Alam highlighted the global earth day and highlighted the active role of children in advising elders to stop using plastic bags as per the National Adaptation Plan (NAP).
It was agreed that the Ministry’s climate agenda will be promoted throughout the country through children in line with the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Both sides agreed to increase the role of children’s participation in climate policy making and climate planning.
Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue Muhammad Aurangzeb, Chairman of Ayana Holding Mr. Abdullah Bin Lahej, Mr. Muhammad Hilal Bin Tarraf Al Mansori, Chairman of Nad Al Shiba Holding met with foreign investors. He explored ways to support existing economic cooperation between the UAE and Pakistan and increase investment activity by seeking greater diversification into areas such as information technology, renewable energy, transport and logistics, infrastructure and real estate development.
He highlighted the competitive advantages that make Pakistan an attractive destination for investors looking for high returns and sustainable growth.
The Finance Minister also highlighted SIFC’s role in assisting investors at every stage of their journey, providing a seamless experience including market research, regulatory guidance, investment facilitation and post-investment support.
