DHAKA: The BCB High-Performance Unit is set to embark on an extensive tour starting with two four-day matches against Pakistan Shaheens in Darwin from July 19.
Mahmudul Hasan, the Test opener, will captain the four-day squad, supported by middle-order batsman Shahadat Hossain, with another Test opener, Shadman Islam, also part of the squad for the longer format games.
After these preparations, the HP unit will move on to more than 50 series involving Pakistan Shaheens and Northern Territory of Australia. They will begin their campaign against the Northern Territory on August 1 and conclude their matches against the Shaheens on August 6.
The tour begins on July 13 and ends with a T20 series in the Northern Territory featuring Pakistan’s Shaheens and prominent teams from the Big Bash League.
