Rawalpindi: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCSC), today attended the inaugural session of the Pakistan-hosted SCO Member States Seminar on “Challenges in Military Medicine” in Rawalpindi.
In his speech, the CJCSC emphasized that the emergence of new and complex challenges in the field of health care, pandemics and humanitarian crises deserve the creation of collective preparedness, response strategies and, more importantly, the strengthening of multilateral cooperation among SCO states, especially in the field of military drugs.
The CJCSC reiterated that both the Pakistani people and the Pakistan Armed Forces are very proud of our partnership with the SCO and are fully committed to expanding this cooperation further.
He expressed his gratitude to the SCO for providing this platform for dialogue and cooperation; and delegates from partner countries for their hearty participation.
