Due to the absence of gas and electricity in the provincial capital the system of life has been suspended due to which the citizens are looking for water and fuel in the freezing cold. See the irony that both electricity and gas disappear at the same time.
Although its causes the problems of water and cooking but now as the electricity cracked as a result the mobile towers also stop working. It remains completely paralyzed the masses against which they are protesting.
According to the news published in various newspapers despite the winter electricity load shedding is continuously increasing in Hayatabad, Gallaher, Sethi Town, Sarabland pura, Pahari Pura and most of the inner city areas. The senior citizens said that the people of the city are paying the bill regularly, however the load shedding is beyond comprehension. The citizens of Hayatabad claim that the recovery here is 100%, so Hayatabad should be exempted from load shedding.
It should be remembered that according to Pesco policy, if there is 70% recovery in the area there will be zero percent load shedding but actually Pesco is not implementing its policy. The same situation is in the densely populated areas of the city, Gulbahar, Sethi Town, Sarabland pura, Pahari pura, Kamboh, Lahori Gate, Sheikhabad, Circular Road, Nothia, Bhanamari, Gulbarg Sadar, Tahkal University Town and other places from which citizens they have become angry and are cursing the federal government.
It should be remembered that till now, whenever the Prime Minister came to power he had made various promises to the nation. The foremost of which was to overcome the energy crisis on which the rhetoric of his cabinet continues even today.
Especially agreements to buy cheap fuel from Russia and Ukraine were being released but the reality is the opposite. So far no such agreement with Russia has come to the fore on what terms it will provide cheap fuel to Pakistan. While Pakistan has once purchase crowd oil few months back but perhaps that was too expensive.
Now, if Pakistan does this in the future it will first have to convince the brotherly country, Saudi Arabia because it is the largest oil producing country in the world, which has helped Pakistan at all times.
Its capital is still lying in our state central bank. On the other hand the second biggest ally and aid giving country to Pakistan is the United States which is the eternal enemy of Russia, which will never want Russia to advance trade relations with Pakistan in any case.
The main reason being that it has its own interests in South Asia. He wants to keep his dominance strong for which he needs an ally like Pakistan. Therefore it has never supported the relations between Pakistan and China, so how will he be able to support the relations of both China and Russia with Pakistan. The other important thing is the need to understand all the conditions on which Russia does business, whether Pakistan can fulfill them. The purpose of the above discussion is that the Prime Minister and his cabinet first ponder and then speak.
Thus when they make a statement keeping in mind that’s an international affair and has eventually its effects and importance consequently that it does not become redundant later. That is also happening with our present government because its ministers are making statements but they have no practical plan to defend their statements.
Hence, there is a need for the federal government to start preparations for the summer already so that on the one hand it will have ample amount of gas available for the summer starting from the month of May so that it can be used to generate electricity. It is possible and easy for the incoming government to handle the problem.
