ISLAMABAD: Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib, Chairman of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), spoke about the presentation of the views and practice sessions of the 7th International Educational Survey organized by Allama Iqbal Open University. The theme of this conference is “Transforming Education: Strengthening Lifelong Learning” and has become an important platform for discussion around the important role of education in the development of society.
In Amjad Saqib’s presentation, the importance of this conference as an important factor in research and practice was emphasized and the importance of education in the construction of society was emphasized. It highlights the importance of creativity in solving today’s problems, challenging new ways, and integrating new technologies to overcome problems. Also Dr. Amjad Saqib emphasized the importance of developing the culture of thought and said: The courage to question and protest is essential for social progress. Addressing an important issue such as climate change, Dr. Amjad Saqib emphasized the need to work together to reduce its impact and increase environmental safety. He called for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be implemented to suit local conditions, claiming that Islamic teachings inherently support the principles of sustainable development.
Amjad Saqib directs his thoughts to marginalized groups in society, especially women who live in extreme poverty and whose children do not have the opportunity to learn. He called for refocus and working together to improve their lives and break the cycle of poverty and poverty.
