SWAT: The district administration has started e-domicile in Swat district and now citizens can apply for e-domicile sitting at home. Deputy Commissioner Swat Dr. Qasim Ali Khan issued the first e-domicile at Babuzai district headquarters of Swat and formally inaugurated the online e-domicile.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Swat Suhail Ahmed Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Relief) Abdul Latif, Assistant Commissioner Matta Abdul Qayyum and District Domicile Incharge Deputy Commissioner Office Farman Ali were also present on this occasion.
Deputy Commissioner Swat Dr. Qasim Ali Khan said on this occasion that the issue of e-domicile at the tehsil level will reduce the travel and financial difficulties of the public including the students. Along with saving time and money, people will be able to get an e-domicile at their doorstep.
He said that the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home and Tribal Affairs Department and the IT Board have launched e-Domicile.

“With e-domicile now people will be able to apply for a domicile sitting at home and get an e-domicile,”he said.
Deputy Commissioner Swat Dr. Qasim Ali Khan has directed all Assistant Commissioners to ensure the issuance of e-Domicile after completing the necessary procedures in their respective tehsils at the earliest so that citizens do not face any difficulty in obtaining domicile.
