SWAT: Former Chief Minister and Vice Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Parliamentarian(PTIP) Mahmood Khan said on Thursday that many people from other political parties, including PTI, were in contact with him and soon they would join PTIP. He spoke this in a press conference along with his party leaders and workers in Saidu Sharif. Pakistan Peoples’ Party District General secretary of the Swat chapter, Anwar Zaman Khan and Qamar Zaman Khan, along with his family, friends, and a large number of party workers, joined PTIP on the occasion. Former provincial minister Muhibullah Khan, PTIP provincial president Habib Ali Shah, and other leaders were also in attendance. On occasion, former PPP leaders Arsalan Khan, Jamshed Khan, Sarfraz Khan, Abid Ali Khan, Usman Ghani, Sohrab Khan, Jan Sher Khan, and former QWP leader Nasrullah Khan, along with their family members and friends, joined PTIP as well. Mahmood Khan said that he was highly excited after his cousins Anwar Zaman Khan and Qamar Zaman Khan joined PTIP with their families. “Our family has become once again one and united with their inclusion. Our party is stronger now as very senior and adept politicians joined it. We believe that we will serve our people in a better way after we come into power,” he said. He said that as a Chief Minister of KP, he worked for the people day and night and served them. “We carried out a record number of developmental projects during our tenure as a CM, and my past lies clear to the people. On the basis of my past tenure, people in KP will vote for us, and we will show our way of ruling to other parties,” he said. He further said that PTIP was getting stronger and stronger every other day with the huge number of inclusions from different political parties, including PTI. He said that PTIP would nominate its candidates in the entire province except in some areas where they had an alliance with other political parties.
