ISLAMABAD: Rabta-e-Alam-e-Islami is organizing a free medical camp for various eye diseases especially 2000 operations of white cataract in different remote and backward areas of Pakistan. In this regard, a solemn ceremony was held at the head office of Islamabad
In which the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Minister of Health Punjab, Dr. Jamal Nasir, Regional Director of Rabata -e-Islami, Saad bin Masud Al-Harsi and other social personalities were also present.
Speaking at the event, Regional Director of Rabta-e- Alam-e-Islami, Saad bin Masood Al-Hassi, said that Rabta-e- Alam-e-Islami is conducting successful health projects in Pakistan.
The aim of which is to bring ease in the lives of the poor and
needy people and to serve the people deprived of basic benefits like health.
In this eye project, hundreds of poor and needy people suffering from eye diseases from backward and remote areas will undergo their examination and operation. Ophthalmologists will examine patients suffering from various eye diseases and provide free operations and necessary medicines to the needy patients and in the first phase of this program, 2,000 eyes will be operated.
Saad bin Masud Al-Harsi also shed light on other ongoing projects of Rabta-e- Alam-e-Islami in Pakistan and said that all these projects have been realized with the interest and efforts of the Secretary General of Rabtat-e-Alam-e-Islami Mr. Al-Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Abdul Karim Al Esa.
On this occasion, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Said Al-Malki, while praising the efforts of the Rabta-e-Alam-e-Islami, said that a lot of work is needed in the health sector.
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Jamal Nasir, while addressing the ceremony, thanked Secretary General Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Esa and Regional Director Saad Masud Al-Harsi of Rabta-e- Alam-e-Islami and said that the welfare like, health, education and food projects in Rabta-e-Alam-e-Islami Pakistan are always a priority. has been doing so and will hopefully continue to welfareprojects in the future.
