LAHORE: On Monday, Grant Bradburn announced his decision to sever ties with the Pakistan Cricket Board.
In the wake of the Pakistan men’s cricket team’s dismal World Cup performance, Bradburn was removed of his duties as head coach. He was transferred to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) as the high-performance coach after being fired.
Bradburn is about to take over as Glamorgan’s coach in every format, according to reports from the Telegraph, and this week’s official announcement is expected. Bradburn expressed his appreciation for the help he received when working with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on social media, formerly Twitter.

Bradburn posted a photo along with the words, “It’s time to close the incredible chapter that has been Pakistan Cricket,” on X. I had three jobs over five years, and I am thankful to have worked with so many amazing staff members and coaches. I am proud of what has been accomplished. I’m wishing PCB’s teams, employees, and whole community further success and expansion.”
Bradburn, a 57-year-old Hamiltonian, had worked in a number of roles in the Pakistan cricket team before to taking on the role of head coach in advance of the World Cup.
