ISLAMABAD: According to Ali Raza Syed, the chairman of the Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU), a recent Human Rights Watch (HRW) study accurately confirmed the widespread human rights violations carried out by Indian troops in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
As to the statement released by Kashmir Media Service, Ali Raza Syed, the Chair of KCEU, expressed gratitude for the HRW’s findings and stated that the human rights organization accurately verified the grave human rights breaches occurring in the occupied Kashmir.
He claimed that because the people in this region of Jammu and Kashmir endure several sufferings and sorrows, the Indian government had restricted the freedom of expression, peaceful protest, and assembly. The occupation troops subject the downtrodden Kashmiris to extrajudicial executions, targeted killings, enforced disappearances, and sexual assaults of women.
