Islamabad: President of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ahsan Zafar Bagtawari said that the capital is our city and we are determined to make the city clean and green and the business community is the biggest shareholder of the city and will use whatever is available. resources to make it attractive and beautiful in real-life situations.
He said this while signing the Memorandum of Understanding between ICCI and CDA on Friday. The President said that ICCI will be responsible for the operation, management, maintenance of the newly constructed washrooms in various markets and they will be developed according to hygiene standards.
He added that a nominal usage fee would be used to modernize and repair these bathrooms. ICCI will also ensure that domestic staff are deployed in appropriate attire at each facility. Further, the ICCI chairman said that the chamber would build its own water filtration plant and continue its role in the modernization of the city.
Taking this opportunity, the business community and citizens celebrated the initiative of ICCI for the benefit of citizens. This agreement was signed by Mr. Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari on behalf of ICCI and Mr. Mashuk Ali Sheikh, Director of Sanitation on behalf of CDA.
