KOHAT: Ahmad Rasool Bangash, Interim Caretaker Provincial Minister for Finance, Revenue, Excise, and Narcotics Control in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has launched many development projects in Kohat district as part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Program (KPCIP).
According to a news release published here on Thursday, provincial caretaker minister Ahmad Rasool Bangash inaugurated the sewerage treatment plant, water supply system, and Milam Women Business Development Centre, all of which are under construction in KDA.
The minister paid visits to the sites of these megadevelopment projects and reviewed ongoing development activity.
During the minister’s visit, Water and Sanitation Service Company Kohat (WSSCK) CEO Arif Rauf provided a full update on the ongoing development initiatives. Arif Rauf has mentioned the company’s financial concerns on several occasions, claiming that the tehsil municipal administration in Kohat had not paid WSSCK two months’ salaries, resulting in financial restrictions for the institute and TMA.
While addressing on the occasion, the Minister lauded WSSCK’s efforts in the development of Kohat and hoped that the institute would continue to use all of its resources to improve the city.
On the occasion, the minister planted a sample in Circuit House Kohat.
Arif Rauf, CEO of WSSCK, handed a crest as a souvenir to Minister Ahmad Rasool Bangash.
Advisor Waqas Paracha was there, as were Director Technical Mian Shakeelur Rehman, Chief Engineer Mian Mohsin Gul, Deputy General Manager Afif, Director Gender Menhaaz Iftikhar, Gender Coordinator Shela Gul, and Resident Engineers Mian Yaqoob and Fasiullah.
