Muzaffarabad: A rally was organized on the occasion of “Pakistan Defense Day” organized by Pasban Hurriyat Jammu Kashmir to pay homage to the martyrs of September 6, 1965.
According to details, large number of Kashmiri citizens expressed gratitude for the failure and defeat of the Indian invasion on September 6, 1965 and reiterated their determination to continue resistance for the freedom of Kashmir.
People carried banners with the slogans “Pakistan Se Rishta Kya La Ilah Il Allah” and “Pakistan Zindabad” written on them.
Citizens participating in the Pakistan Defense Day Rally raised loud slogans in favor of Islam, Pakistan and Kashmir.
Rally commenced from Central Press Club to Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk to pay homage to the martyrs of September 6, 1965.
While addressing the rally, the speakers said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir pay homage to the martyrs of September 6, 1965 for their eternal resistance.
They maintained that the 6th September marked the beginning of the practical defeat of Hinduism in South Asia since the issue of Kashmir prevailed.
The speakers said that the three branches of the armed forces of Pakistan, Army, Navy and Air Force, not only failed the Indian attack but also defeated the Indian army on this day.
“Pakistan forces defeated the troops invading Lahore at Wagah, Bedian, Khemkaran and other fronts”, they added.
Moreover, they said that Pakistan Air Force launched heavy attacks on the Indian Air Force bases in Udhampur and Kathua, which forced India to flee back.
Speakers said that on September 6, the forces of Pakistan had crushed India’s evil ambitions.
They said that Pakistan is the defence fence of the Muslim Ummah and Jammu and Kashmir is the defence line of Pakistan.
“Despite Indian aggression, conspiracies and machinations, Pakistan is established as a strong country on the map of the world today”, speakers stated.
The speakers said that Kashmiri people are standing side by side for the development, prosperity and stability of Pakistan.
Rally was led by Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Vice Chairman Usman Ali Hashim, Sarandaz Mir, Muhammad Atif Lone, Khawaja Muhammad Sadiq, Muhammad Ishaq Shaheen, Shakir-ul-Islam, Muhammad Aslam Inqalabi, Faisal Farooq Sheikh, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Imtiaz Aziz Khan and others.
