Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Health and Engineering Malik Pakhtoon Khanar on Thursday said that the provincial government will provide significant relief to the people in the upcoming budget.
Speaking to the press after the inauguration of the filter plant at the fresh fruits and vegetables market, he said that some important announcements related to economic relief for the people would be made in the provincial assembly.
He said his protest against the Election Commission’s decision on reserved seats will continue until justice is served, adding that a new constitutional crisis is emerging in the country and making it more serious.
Earlier, the provincial minister attended the inauguration ceremony of the filter factory which was built at a cost of 05 million dollars.
Malik Iqbal Jadoon Khan, Haji Malik Muhammadullah Wazir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Hamid Iqbal, TM Yousuf Khan and Fruit Vegetable Market Chairman Mian Rehman Shah were also present on the occasion.
The provincial minister expressed displeasure over poor drainage, sanitation and drainage systems and other problems in the market.
He directed the officials concerned to resolve all issues by May 20.
