WANA: Local government representatives have said that redressing the previous deprivations of Ex FATA/ Merged Districts is the need of this time.
The provincial caretaker government should play a positive role in solving the unresolved problems of the merged districts.
Local government representatives demanded that the caretaker chief minister should take measures on an emergency basis for the problems of the members of the village neighborhood councils and the establishment of offices.
In this regard, Intizar Khalil, Alhaji Said Nawab Afridi said that the government should implement the promises made to local government representatives.
They said, even though it has been two years since the local government elections, the local government representatives are facing severe difficulties due to the paralysis of the local government system.
These views have been expressed by the members of the Provincial Action Council, local representatives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tehsil, Chairman Khyber Alhaj Said Nawab Afridi, Chairman and Member Capital Metropolitan City Government Peshawar Intizar Ali Khalil, Chairman Wana Malik Sahib Khan in their ongoing statement, that the caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhowa had assured a positive approach to the unresolved issues of the provincial action council representatives of the Khyber Pakhtunkhowa committee with the local government representatives.
They Said, We hope that the caretaker Chief Minister and the Cabinet will use all resources to implement this.
Tehsil Chairman Khyber Alhaj Said Nawab Afridi further said that at this time the representatives of the local bodies of the entire Khyber Pakhtunkhowa are facing severe difficulties but the problems of local government representatives of tehsil and village neighborhood councils of former FATA are the most.
Because the funds and other resources of former FATA local government representatives are on one side while they are also deprived of offices and fue to which not only local body representatives but also people are facing severe difficulties
Alhaji Said Nawab Afridi once again appealed to the caretaker government, government and non-government institutions that at this time of difficulties, I should cooperate with local body representatives for the development of former FATA, so that the public can be served in every possible way.
Local body representatives have once again decided to meet the caretaker Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa next week, so that the problem of local representatives can be solved on a priority basis.
