LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, in her speech at the parade ceremony of Punjab Elite Force on Friday said that the force is a sapling planted by Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif.
Maryam graced the ceremony as the chief guest at the Elite Force training center in Bedian, wearing an elite style police uniform.
The Chief Minister, members of the cabinet and the Inspector General of Punjab inspected the parade.
Then the Chief Minister addressed the event and said that he was happy to participate in the parade.
He congratulated the successful police cadets and said he was encouraged to see them through to become Prime Minister.
Mary said to the cadets: “I am one of you. I came to the passing ceremony wearing your clothes. It is not a uniform, but a symbol of national service, which is respected by very few.”
Mary announced cash prizes for the best performers in the event.
Addressing the female cadets, the Prime Minister said that their parents believed in them and dedicated [the daughter] to national service.
