Rawalpindi: General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) has visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on an official visit.
During the visit, the COAS called on His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the KSA; His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, KSA Minister of Defence; His Excellency General Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff (CGS) of the Saudi Armed Forces and Engineer Talal Abdullah Al Otaibi, KSA Deputy Minister of Defense and other senior military leadership.
Broad issues of mutual interest were discussed, including regional peace and security, bilateral defense and security cooperation.
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad Bin Salman emphasized that KSA and Pakistan have historical brotherly and strong relations and both countries have always stood by each other. The Crown Prince also expressed his desire to further strengthen bilateral relations and that KSA will always be ready with Pakistan in the future.
COAS thanked the Saudi leadership for their warm feelings and support to Pakistan.
