ISLAMABAD: Dr. Arif Alvi, Pakistan’s president, said that Pakistan would have to adopt modern agricultural technology and make good decisions in order to deal with the challenge of climate change because of the country’s abundance of natural resources. He claimed that sewerage was a criminal activity that resulted in the dumping of approximately 400 million gallons of water into the sea each day in Karachi. He also emphasized the fishermen’s use of illegal nets, which also swept small fish and led to a significant loss of marine life. He expressed due to the very reasons, Europe was not permitting fish import from Pakistan. The president exemplified the Netherlands which was the second biggest food provider on earth in spite of being multiple times more modest in size than Pakistan and not having such an overflow of water like Pakistan. Likewise, Vietnam has taken its fishery products to around $10 billion for each annum by embracing worldwide guidelines and methods, he added. He said by pushing the ranchers to embrace present day farming innovation, Pakistan could likewise take care of the world. He reviewed Pakistan’s triumphs in battling Coronavirus through an information based approach and public solidarity and said that the world would follow its impressions assuming the nation set such a model as it had likewise accomplished acknowledgment through monstrous tree ranch.
